The size and shape of your nose can profoundly impact your facial balance and overall physical appearance. If you are dissatisfied with the look of your nose or are having trouble breathing, rhinoplasty surgery may offer a solution. Our Las Vegas doctors specialize in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, allowing them to provide rhinoplasty and revision rhinoplasty results that are beautiful and natural-looking.
Am I a Good Candidate for Rhinoplasty?
During your initial consultation, one of our doctors will perform a physical evaluation and review your medical history. They will verify that you are a good candidate and schedule you for surgery.
Rhinoplasty Is Great If You
- Have problems with your nose
- Have realistic expectations
- Have a dorsal hump (very common)
- Have specific changes you want to make
Taking the First Steps
Our Las Vegas team offers a smooth experience, providing friendly and knowledgeable service over the phone and in person. When you arrive for your physical appointment, you will have a one-on-one discussion with one of our board-certified plastic surgeons. This appointment will be an excellent opportunity to ask questions, review the treatment plan, and confirm that you are ready to move ahead with a rhinoplasty procedure.
Meet Our Board-Certified Plastic Surgeons
At VPSI, our surgeons distinguish themselves by their excellent technical skills and artistic eye. Both Dr. Brosious and Dr. Goldman have the versatile experience that allows them to say “yes” to nearly every patient who walks through the door.
Dr. John Brosious is a full-scope plastic and reconstructive surgeon offering head-to-toe surgeries. His background includes experience in Level I Trauma centers and academic institutions, equipping him to take on the most advanced reconstruction cases. Dr. Brosious performs over 200 chest surgeries a year for both transfeminine and transmasculine patients, and he is also the only surgeon in Nevada performing male to female genital gender affirmation surgery.
Likewise, Dr. Joshua Goldman is a comprehensive plastic and reconstructive surgeon, well-known in the breast cancer community for his specialization in breast microsurgery. He single-handedly has the highest number of microsurgery cases in the State of Nevada and has been named by Vegas Inc’s Las Vegas Weekly as “Las Vegas 40 Under 40” and a “2021 Top Doctor.”
To Dr. Brosious and Dr. Goldman, you are family, and they are here to help guide you through your journey to enhance your natural beauty.

The Rhinoplasty Process Explained
Once you arrive at the surgical center, you will be greeted by our team and placed under anesthesia to ensure your comfort and safety throughout the surgery.
Rhinoplasty requires incisions, which may be made inside the nose or along the columella, the narrow strip of tissue separating the nostrils. Your surgeon will take extra special care to place incisions strategically to make any scars virtually invisible.
During surgery, your doctor will need to remove some bone and cartilage to reshape your nose, and, in some cases, they may need to graft cartilage into the nose. Your rhinoplasty procedure may also involve straightening the septum, which can help resolve breathing, snoring, and sinus concerns.

Recovery and Aftercare
Following your rhinoplasty procedure, it is normal to experience swelling, bleeding, and congestion. Discomfort, including headaches, is also expected. These symptoms tend to resolve within a week or less, and we can provide plenty of tools for managing these symptoms, including decongestants and pain management medications.
Most patients feel ready to return to work and their other normal activities within a week to 10 days, but we recommend abstaining from strenuous exercise for at least a month.
