Extreme life changes can range from significant weight loss or gain, pregnancy, childbearing, or external reasons, leaving you dissatisfied with your appearance. A total body makeover can address sagging breasts, bulging abdominal muscles, and excess skin for moms or anyone needing a transformation. VPSI offers a variety of total body makeover procedures, more commonly known as mommy makeovers, designed to help you find your best self.
The Benefits of Getting a Mommy Makeover
Terms like “mommy makeover” and “total body makeover” denote multiple plastic surgeries to address all of your concerns at once. There are several benefits to this approach:
- The total body makeover allows you to experience a full body transformation.
- Having multiple surgeries performed at once minimizes anesthesia exposure and other medical risks.
- This approach also enables you to have a single recovery experience instead of numerous recoveries.
- Total body rejuvenation can be more cost-effective than paying multiple OR and anesthesia fees for separate procedures.
Am I a Good Candidate for a Mommy Makeover?
While your body may not be exactly the same as it once was, our doctors can undo some changes caused by pregnancy, nursing, and general weight gain or loss.
What Procedures Are Involved in a Mommy Makeover?
Total body makeover treatments help address specific areas of concern or dissatisfaction with your appearance. As such, the specific procedures included can vary from one patient to the next. During your initial consultation, your doctor will work with you to develop a treatment plan that addresses your needs and expectations.
Breast Augmentation
Pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding can often result in a loss of breast volume. Our doctors can restore this volume through breast augmentation, which may be performed with implants, fat transfer, or a combination of the two.
Breast Augmentation Revision
You may be dissatisfied with your current breast volume and may wish to remove your implants or reduce them in size. Breast revision can be incorporated into your makeover to provide relief from discomfort caused by capsular contracture, address breast asymmetry, or for aesthetic reasons.
Tummy Tuck
The tummy tuck, also known as abdominoplasty, can be used to address bulging abdominal muscles, as well as sagging skin that accumulates around the middle part of the body. It can also repair muscles that become damaged during pregnancy and childbirth, a condition known as diastasis recti.
Liposuction
Liposuction can be a very effective addition to full body rejuvenation. This procedure extracts excess fat from the body and can be especially useful for patients with abdominoplasty performed.
Meet Our Board-Certified Plastic Surgeons
At VPSI, our surgeons distinguish themselves by their excellent technical skills and artistic eye. Both Dr. Brosious and Dr. Goldman have the versatile experience that allows them to say “yes” to nearly every patient who walks through the door.
Dr. John Brosious is a full-scope plastic and reconstructive surgeon offering head-to-toe surgeries. His background includes experience in Level I Trauma centers and academic institutions, equipping him to take on the most advanced reconstruction cases. Likewise, Dr. Joshua Goldman is a comprehensive plastic and reconstructive surgeon, well-known in the breast cancer community for his specialization in breast microsurgery. He single-handedly has the highest number of microsurgery cases in the State of Nevada and has been named by Vegas Inc’s Las Vegas Weekly as “Las Vegas 40 Under 40” and a “2021 Top Doctor.”

Taking the First Steps
The first step to beginning your total body makeover journey is scheduling a consultation. During this appointment, your doctor will perform a physical examination, review your medical history, and talk with you about your goals and expectations. Based on this information, your doctor will confirm your eligibility for safe and successful surgery, then outline the details of your treatment plan.
The Procedure Process Explained
The specifics of your mommy makeover surgery can vary depending on the particular procedures you desire. No matter the details, you can anticipate a safe and comfortable experience, with proper anesthesia methods used to keep you out of discomfort. Also, note that this makeover is by definition a single-session surgery instead of a series of procedures.

Recovery and Aftercare
Before discharge, we will provide you with all the information you need about recovery and aftercare. You will need to take at least one to two weeks to rest and heal and avoid strenuous exercise for multiple weeks after that. Having someone to help you with tasks around the home is highly recommended.
Additionally, pain management tools, including both prescription and over-the-counter pain medications, will be offered.
How Long Will My Results Last?
By following the aftercare instructions carefully and maintaining a healthy lifestyle overall, you can extend your makeover results for a long time.
