What to Expect From Your Labiaplasty Procedure

Labiaplasty is typically performed under local or general anesthesia, depending on your preference and the complexity of your procedure.

Your plastic surgeon will use advanced surgical techniques to carefully remove excess tissue and shape the labia to your desired outcome. The procedure generally takes 1 to 2 hours. Small dissolvable sutures are placed to minimize scarring and promote faster healing.

Labiaplasty Recovery and Results

Most patients return to normal daily activities in about 1 week, though you’ll need to avoid strenuous activity and sexual intercourse for 4 to 6 weeks.

You can expect some swelling, bruising, or tenderness for the first few days, and we’ll provide clear aftercare instructions and support. As your body heals, your final results will gradually take shape, typically within 6 to 8 weeks.
